Individual Communication Training

Why

Whether you are shy or insecure, or not… creating a powerful presentation and delivering it with confidence, makes most people break a sweat.

What I like about these one-to-one sessions, is that we can do a deepdive into what matters most to you. Whether it is to simplify your complicated message, helping you with nerves, or figuring out what storytelling ideas could work for you, we work together and have fun exploring new ideas.

How

After an initial meeting to hear what you struggle with or want to present differently, I show you an overview of all kinds of topics of interest. That comes with an advise on where to start so it is not entirely overwhelming.

However, you are in control as well: would you rather start somewhere else? Skip a topic and focus on another item?

This is your training. And we will focus on what you want to learn.

Pitch/presenting

Presenting in front of others is the number 1 fear of many people, and when we start to understand the old brain, it actually makes sense that it scares us! There are ways to beat some of the nerves, but it won’t actually go away for most of us. It’s about accepting, about dealing with it in a healthy way, and about gaining new confidence and knowing your strengths.

In my sessions and workshops I tackle these 3 area’s, based on what helps you the most and creating curiosity to try some new things. Bringing clear, engaging ideas across is a pro skill, but something you can learn! From body language to clear structures, how to answer questions or filter out the most important messages, there are many tips and tricks to share.

Draw your message

Are you often explaining ideas to potential customers, or colleagues? Or are you up for a speech and want to stand out from the usual?

Visualising key messages does not have to be complicated or out of your reach. Even if you consider yourself somebody who cannot draw, I can teach you how to create simple icons and visuals that will help make your presentation, speech or explanation unforgettable!

Persuasive communication

What happens BEFORE and AFTER you present your ideas? How do you handle tough questions from an investor, or judges? What is the best way to start your conversation with that specific colleague? Convincing others to join your project or your idea, is not easy.

When talking about persuasive communication, we take a closer look at your audience. Reading them better, listening for cues, understanding the needs behind their questions… they all set you up to get to your goals in a quicker, easier way.
